Granddaughters: Lisa Reed and Kim Johnson
Great granddaughters:
Emily Witt, Sarah and Julia Johnson
Sister-in-law:
Althea Hassell and her son, Rudy Hassell,
as well as many nieces and nephews
throughout the USA and Saba as well as in Aruba.
Benny was predeceased by his loving wife of almost 72 years, Cornelia Hassell Sloterdijk,
parents Eert and Orie Sloterdijk as well as three brothers, Edward, Arlington,
and Ludwig Sloterdijk and three sisters, Stella Richardson, Stephie Croft, and Dena Johnson,
and his son-in-law, Luppo Huizenga, and a number of nieces and nephews.
He will also be missed by his friends and caregivers,
especially his longtime caregivers, Patsy Richards and Coolie Bhorasingh.
The funeral will take place on Saturday, June 1st, 2024 at
Pray Funeral Home in San Nicolaas.
The late Mr. Sloterdijk will be laid out from 2pm until 4 pm at Pray Funeral Home.
Internment will take place in the Catholic Cemetery in San Nicolaas.
In lieu of flowers a donation towards a good cause will be highly appreciated.
There will be a box available at the funeral home for this generosity.
