With profound sadness, we announce the passing of
Charell Leonard Hughes, beloved husband,
father, uncle, godfather and friend.
His passing was on the 2/19/2025.
Charell better known as Gerald was born in Aruba on the 12/30/1960 and lived a life full of
love, laughter, and kindness. He will be remembered for his generosity, sense of humor and
dedication to family.
He is survived by his wife Sonia Karin Cooper, his son †Omar and daughter Bianca.
